Waterfall, V shaped valley, interlocking spurs, meanders.
A waterfall is a feature of erosion, e.g. Niagra Falls, Canada. Where a layer of hard rock lies on soft rock a waterfall may develop. They are found in the youthful stage of the river. Fast flowing water will erode the soft rock through abrasion, attrition, hydraulic action and solution. A plunge pool will develop and the river will retreat forming a gorge. See below:
